METC Kids

Through the years we have presented many programs for children. Some are serious, but some are just for fun. Whether based on a craft such as paper cutting, or recognizing Ground Hog Day, or celebrating the "birthday" of a favorite stuffed amimal, these programs stimulate the children's imagination.

Here are some of our favorite
snapshots from past programs

North American Reciprocal Museum Program

METC is now a member of the North American Reciprocal Museum program (NARM), an association of museums in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, and El Salvador offering certain benefits of membership to other qualifying museum members.

METC members who present their membership card (validated with a gold North American Reciprocal sticker) at a participating museum are entitled to the following privileges at that museum:

  • free/member admission during regular museum hours
  • member discounts at museum shops
  • member discounts on concert/lecture tickets.

This special membership benefit is available to our members at the Patron level ($100 or more).
If you are not currently at this level, now is an excellent time to upgrade and receive this important new benefit! Current Patron members can stop by the Museum to have your membership card validated with the NARM gold sticker.

NARM currently has over 400 member institutions. See
HERE for the current list. Please note that some museums restrict benefits, so check the notes at the bottom of the listing page for more information.
