Madison Holiday Arts Festival

The Madison Holiday Arts Festival, now in its 12th year, is presented by the Madison Arts and Culture Alliance, the Madison Downtown Development Commission, and the Madison Chamber of Commerce. In keeping with the mission of MACA, the event is intended to celebrate arts and culture in Madison by providing a showcase for Madison-area artists and promoting local businesses.

In 2017, the Festival has been expanded to two days with over 33 events featuring musicians, visual art, dance, and theatre. All activities are presented free of charge to the public.

Featured at METC:

Fri., Nov. 4th

1 pm Merynda Adams and Shannon Pengitore – Sisters, Merynda and Shannon will present Classical and Christmas selections for harp and voice. 

2:15 pm The Gargoyles of Grace Church – a young men’s a cappella ensemble based at Grace Church, Madison. The dozen boys range in age from 7th to twelfth grade, and represent several schools including those in Madison, Chatham, and Morristown. 

3 pm  Synergismus Duo – Chamber music for violin and Cello – Millie and Randy Calistri-Yeh will perform duets for violin and cello from classical, folk, and contemporary music, as well as several holiday carols. They will also share interesting “stories behind the music”. 

Sat., Nov. 25th

2 pm  Andrew Pungot, caricaturist – Andrew Pungot is drawing live caricatures in his seventh year at the Madison Holiday Arts Festival. Sit down, have a laugh, and go home with a unique and hilarious drawing of yourself. It only takes 15-20 minutes!
