Modern Embroidery Workshop

February 7 from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Embroidery Pattern 2a

In this two-and-a-half hour workshop, instructor Meg Mullin will teach you everything you need to know to make an embroidery piece to display or gift proudly! We’ll provide you with a kit containing all the materials you need to make your first project, and we’ll share tools and resources you can use should you want to continue making art with needle and thread. Come prepared to have fun and use your hands. All levels welcome. Light refreshments provided.

Meg Headshot

Meg Mullin is a Madison mom, realtor, writer and maker passionate about needlepoint and fiber art, and is excited to help others in their journey of embracing the power and value of hands-on creativity. She learned cross stitch and sewing as a young girl and continued practicing and creating through her teens and early 20s. After a 15-year hiatus, she rediscovered comfort and peace in the old-fashioned art as a respite from today’s technology-saturated world. She has completed many projects and workshops – both in-person and online – with well-known fiber and needlepoint artists and is eager to help others learn the craft. You can follow her on Instagram @rosecitycreative.

Cost: $25 per person, $20 for METC Members
