Quali-T Kids Tour the beautiful James Library, now the home of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts. Learn about the art of stenciling and making rubbings, and make a special stenciled “ME-T-shirt” to wear to future Kids’ Club meetings |

Thanks a Lot! Learn about the first Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving traditions. Make a beautiful table centerpiece to decorate your family’s Thanksgiving celebration. |

Just Bead It! Bead-making is an ancient craft that is as fun today as it was hundreds of years ago. Learn about the history and traditions of beads, and make jewelry out of beads you make at Kids’ Club. |

Boxing Day Boxing Day is a traditional English holiday celebrated on December 26. We’re celebrating it a little later this year. Learn about this interesting holiday and make a decorated box to hold your New Year’s Resolutions and other important treasures. |

Heart-Felt Love Felt was an important fabric for early Americans because it was warm, waterproof and durable. We still wear many felt objects today. Learn about the process of felting and make a felted heart to share with your loved one for Valentine’s Day! |

Make a Spectacle of Yourself Get ready for April Fool’s Day by making a pair of Wacky Eyeglasses. But first, learn the history of eyeglasses by touring the eyeglass portion of the new Crafting Cures exhibit. We will also make and decorate a donation box to collect used eyeglasses for “New Eyes for the Needy.” |

April Showers Rain sticks are a traditional craft of Native Americans. The soothing sounds made by the rain stick and the beauty of the rain stick can soothe anyone, even on a rainy April day! Learn the history of rain sticks, hear stories about rain sticks and make one to take home. |

... Bring May Flowers Tour the rest of the new exhibit Crafting Cures (not seen at March’s Kids’ Club meeting) and learn about Early American medical practices, including centuries-old herbal cures. Become part of the exhibit by planning and planting a special Kids’ Club Herb Garden, and watch it grow! Bring home a special potted plant for Mother’s Day! |

Grand Old Flag Just in time for Flag Day, learn about the origins of our American flag and the changes that have taken place with the flag over the years. Make a flag to display proudly for Flag Day! |
