Downtown Concert Series – What’s What

September 4 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

METC’s free Summer Concert Series sponsored by the DDC with What’s What is on Friday, September 4 from 6-8pm!

Local Madison band, What’s What, brings solid musicianship and fun vibes to up-tempo rock music from the 70’s and 80’s. Their spirited performance of classic songs from artists like Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, Cheap Trick and Van Halen merge seamlessly with music from the MTV video revolution. The band features Phil Duffy on vocals and guitar, Mike Shugrue on bass and vocals, Tom Doherty on lead guitar and Bill Geyer on drums. Make What’s What a lively part of your fantastic night Downtown!

Important Concert Updates:
Before we get ready to rock ๐ŸŽธ and kick off the summerโ˜€๏ธ, here are a few housekeeping items for your safety:
– The Museum is still closed to the public at this time. Restrooms will not be open to the public.
-Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. METC will not be providing chairs due to COVID-19 concerns.
-Maintain social distance
-Bring your masks!๐Ÿ˜ท
-METC’s lawn will be closed to the public, but there will be plenty of room on the street to sit and spread out.
– Bringing a picnic dinner is encouraged! Why not support one of the many great restaurants in downtown Madison for takeout? ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”๐Ÿฆ
– Dogs are always welcome!๐Ÿถ
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding! We are beyond thrilled to be able to host our concert series this year!
